Is the final result decided on the votes? Because I see the good/better and subject oriented pictures are getting fewer votes than the others.
And if I am not wrong the theme of this is contest is Family Farming but in page 2 first pictures by Shibaraj Khatri involves only one person and also the image of Prativa Lamsal and few others.
I just hope that judges are keeping an eye on them and not only decide on public voting and may the best picture wins.
Looking forward to the results… good luck to everyone.

Dear all, it is request to all of you concerned,Please don’t have your view from one side. Some entries have strong description but photo tells a little while in other case , some photo speaks itself but has weak description. So only description and photo alone are not sufficient enough for better judgment as our contest is based on both them . So have view with amalgamation of both as this is photo contest carrying the theme of IYFF 2014. So please use your valuable vote for those entries which you think the best fit.

I agree with your statements and with due respect I say that this is a photo competition not an essay or précis writing competition (that’s what I have understood). Please correct me if I’m wrong.
When the contest was announced they had asked for pictures that showed family farming and few words (under 100 words) that described the image and where the picture was taken.

I have kept this view due to the reason that some people have described a lot but what is described is not represented in photo while some photo itself is sufficient to reveal whole story behind it and also have described what was demanded by contest at time of announce are underestimated so my request is to see whether photo is matched with its description or not to be in line what is demanded by contest.I am not focussing on precise writting but on theme that it have in word to match photo.

anyways Prakash Paudel ji, your photo is leading in votes and it has over 1000 votes already and still 5 days to go.
i must say you have an excellent photo, it shows three butts of the women, the old guy on the left is almost out of frame and the top of the house is cropped off….Great photography, never seen before such composition have to admit you are the best… but sadly my vote is for others.

Prakash Paudel ji ,Nice to hear that young people in your counrty are celebrating IYFF 2014 in your this really impressive way .....i am proud of you that u are also the part of this. But bitter thing in this competition i have seen is that whoever is adding comment should not add comment to your photo in this way...actually after it is in voting ,any photo can get vote depend on public , different people have different view , vote for any one also depends on it as well as relative knowing to each other,if your photo was showing only the thing what the guy says ,why it was selected , anyway actually person shows anything what he /she has with him /her .Finally solute to those who are part of it.I hope my vote to you will be the valuable vote for you....
